Blanet

Strategic Communications & Department Build

We built Blanet’s marketing and communications function from strategy to SOPs so the organisation could run coordinated launches, stakeholder campaigns, and regulatory engagement across multiple markets.

01

Challenge

Blanet needed more than a campaign — they needed an operations-ready communications function. With many stakeholder groups (parents, school proprietors, investors, telco partners, regulators and community networks) and a narrow launch window, inconsistent messaging and weak approval workflows would slow execution and risk mixed messages.

02

Decode

We mapped every stakeholder, channel and decision point and discovered mismatched responsibilities, missing approval gates, and no standardised content or crisis playbook. That made it hard to scale outreach or hand off work between teams.

03

Design

Using the Hilvarr Method we decoded audience needs and regulatory friction, then designed a Marketing & Communications Playbook (V1.1) and a seven‑part, 24‑section Department SOP to govern content, approvals, partnerships, webinars, PR and influencer engagement. We also produced templates for press releases, webinar briefs, government correspondence and partner proposals to speed execution.

04

Deploy

We stood up the comms department, delegated responsibilities, implemented approval frameworks and ran the initial wave of communications — internal and external — across digital content, brochures, pitch decks, partnership proposals and official correspondence. Biweekly leadership touchpoints and KPI‑governance were embedded into weekly reporting.

Results & impact

Operational readiness: Blanet moved from ad‑hoc communications to a repeatable, auditable system ready for scale. Stakeholder engagement templates and protocols reduced friction and clarified lines of accountability.
